Killian has a BSc Accounting (hons) degree from University College Cork, an M.Acc Master’s Degree from Michael Smurfit School of Business, holds both a practicing and auditing certificate with the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a Chartered Tax Advisor of the Irish Tax Institute.
Killian joined EY (Ernst & Young) in 2006 and trained in their audit department in Dublin. Having obtained his professional qualification he subsequently worked as an audit manager in both the Dublin and Melbourne offices. He has worked with a large spectrum of clients from indigenous Irish businesses to large multi-nationals.
In 2013 he moved to the Transactions Advisory Department of EY Dublin and worked on a broad range of engagements including restructurings, due diligence assignments, receiverships, liquidations and examinerships. During this period he successfully obtained a Diploma in Insolvency Practice from the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
In 2015 Killian joined the team at O’Brien Crowley. In the time since he has successfully completed the Chartered Tax Advisor examinations with the Irish Tax Institute and has sought to consolidate his qualifications and experience in offering a full integrated suite of services to his clients.
